Historic Boundary Waters Wilderness Protection Act Introduced!

We are stoked to share exciting news from the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness! U.S. Senator Tina Smith just introduced the Boundary Waters Wilderness Protection and Pollution Prevention Act - a historic step forward to permanently protect the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness from toxic mining.

As proud members of The Conservation Alliance, supporters of Save the Boundary Waters, and partners to incredible local BWCA outfitters, we are beyond stoked to see momentum building to safeguard this one-of-a-kind landscape for future generations.

The Boundary Waters isn’t just any wilderness — it’s a paddler’s paradise, a haven for wildlife, and one of the most visited wilderness areas in the U.S. This place deserves permanent protection from industrial mining threats that could ruin the cleanest waters and quietest nights you’ll ever experience.

We’ll keep showing up to protect it — through partnerships, guided adventures, and sharing the magic of this wild place with others.

Let’s get this bill across the finish line. :raised_hands:
