It would be great to have a global search feature instead of being locked into using filters
Thank you Sharon! We’re working to launch this in the next month as a beta test. This would ideally work to show you options that are available based on your search results.
Eg. Once you start searching ‘Breckenridge’, the search will auto complete and show you only the activities that are available in Breckenridge.
Thanks for sharing this, we’re excited to launch this and get your feedback.
@Sharon @emmadesrochers @Julie do you mind testing the search bar and providing any feedback or examples of how it’s helpful (or how it can be improved).

Thank you!
This is awesome! It’s definitely helpful to be able to search more widely.
One thing that could be cool is if it could separate exact matches, and then have a bar and below the bar it would show “Other Adventures You Might Like”
For example, a search for moab mountain biking, it’s pretty accurate up until the Ninja MTB clinic, and then it begins suggesting other adventures. I’m not sure if there’s a way to do that, but if so I think it would be helpful!
And similarly, if there are no exact matches for a search, for example - white salmon rafting - it would be cool to something that says "We don’t have any activities that match [search term], but here are some other adventure you might like!
Researching to see if that is possible! Thanks for using it
I think Sharon’s comment is the main change. It is nice to separate exact matches from similar matches so people don’t keep scrolling wondering if there is a better match.
Is there anyway to make this search option much more clear or move it next to the explore search bar so it makes it really clear for people they can search by location or activity/features? I can see people completely missing that search circle and only using the explore search at the top of the page.
Also, is there supposed to be a drop down menu showing up right now?
here are the things that we’re going to research:
- Can we separate out ‘exact search’ vs. ‘related search’ items in the search results.
- Where do we train MS to know things like SUP means paddleboarding and MTB means mountain biking?
