Today while snowboarding solo, it really became obvious to me that the process of improving at anything is full of challenges, obstacles and resistance.
It often comes along with frustration for me as well, but I realized that it doesn’t has to. I don’t have to let the challenge feel like a frustration. Pain from falling does not have to be accompanied with mental frustration. It can just be pain and instead I can take a moment to be aware of what caused the fall. Was it balance? Lack of focus from being distracted by thought (usually for me…)?
The messages of this understand and learning are everywhere all the time but I don’t always see it so clearly. Today, I did… and I wanted to share it with you.
