Best e-MTB Bike Trails in Sedona
Schnebly Hill Overlook
- Sights: Schnebly Hill Vista Overlook
- Ride Length & Time: 19.5 miles, about 3-4 hours
- Trailhead: Thunder Mountain Bikes
If you’re up for an adventure with some of the best views in Sedona, Schnebly Hill Road is a must. This out-and-back route winds up to the top of the Mogollon Rim, where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping vistas of Sedona’s iconic red rock landscape. The ride starts at the Thunder Mountain Bikes area and climbs all the way to the rim, where you’ll find plenty of additional dirt road options if you’re feeling the urge to explore. Be aware that this route is shared with off-road vehicles, so keep a lookout for other traffic along the way.
Chicken Point to Thunder Mtn bikes Route

For a shorter but equally scenic ride, Chicken Point is a classic Sedona destination. The route includes a mix of dirt roads and slickrock, giving you the full Sedona experience as you ride out toward Chicken Point, an overlook known for its stunning views and the infamous “White Line” on the rock face. If you’re craving even more adventure, consider taking the Submarine Rock jeep trail on your way back for bonus views and extra ride time. Like Schnebly Hill, this trail also sees off-road motor traffic, so be mindful as you ride.
Soldiers Pass Out and Back

If you’re looking to check out some unique geological features, Soldiers Pass is a solid choice. You’ll eventually reach the jeep road that leads to the Devil’s Kitchen sinkhole and the iconic 7 Sacred Pools. It’s a relatively short ride, but the sights along the way pack a punch. Remember, off-road vehicles also use this trail, so stay alert.
